Map Visualization for a More Clear Customer Dialogue
Svensk Direktreklam and Icebound have enjoyed a long-standing partnership that has only grown stronger over the years. When the time came in 2019 for Svensk Direktreklam to upgrade its mapping solution, it was an obvious choice for them to do so in collaboration with their current partner, Icebound
Custom Map Solution
To manage and visualize its delivery districts, a customized solution was needed, and the project to develop the application—based on the AddSpatial GIS platform—took one year to complete. For several years now, all of Svensk Direktreklam’s regional offices have been using the map in their daily work.
Better Customer Communication
“We’ve had a very productive dialogue, both during the project and now that we’ve moved into the management phase—something we value very highly! Since this is a business-critical solution for our organization, we need quick responses and action if anything happens—and Icebound has really delivered in that regard,” says Linda Hammarling, Head of Production Management at Svensk Direktreklam.
The single biggest and most important benefit that Svensk Direktreklam has achieved since the upgraded solution was implemented is that the workflow and communication with customers have become much clearer. The ability to show customers exactly what the districts look like on a map—and to let them mark their selections directly on the map—significantly simplifies processes, something that customers also appreciate.
“We’re seeing a big difference from before—the visualized map data is now being used to a much greater extent, even internally at the local level,“ says Linda Hammarling.
