By using GPS Timber, you will gain control over both your stock and all handling. The drivers will have a much easier situation where GPS Timber shows where the timber should be.

This is possible because GPS Timber positions the vehicles in real time with very high precision so when they bring the grapple into a compartment, roller or saw table. Drivers receive graphical information on where they are going and what class of timber they have in the grapple. This gives the drivers very good control and overview.

Incoming timber via truck or train can also be handled by GPS Timber.

An extra dimension with Dynamic Sorting

Dynamic Sorting is a feature that allows GPS-Timber to control in real time which compartments in the sorting line should have which timber classes. When a log is sorted, GPS-Timber determines, based on the specified rules and priorities, which compartment it should be sorted into. The idea is to reduce the load and mileage on the trucks, provide a greater flow and to increase the use and efficiency of sorting.

GPS Timber is currently connected to most sorting and sawing systems on the market. We can connect to other/new control system suppliers because we have developed GPS Timber to be an agile product that can easily communicate with other platforms.
