By understanding customer needs and leveraging its cutting-edge expertise in geographic IT and geodata, Icebound will continue to develop sustainable products and services that streamline production and operational workflows for Swedish and international industries and companies. The primary customer segments initially are the forestry industry, the mining industry, and the energy sector, as well as basic geodata services for other businesses.

Growth can take many forms, including a larger geographic market, more employees, a broader product range, and much more.

Method

The goal is for the company to grow significantly over the next few years and strengthen its position as a market leader. Growth in existing and new markets and segments is based on a well-planned acquisition strategy targeting companies that complement the existing offering.

Another of our core principles is to grow through alliances and partnerships. We have a long tradition of strengthening our offerings through alliances with technology, service, and data providers. This includes both integrating technology from world-leading suppliers and forming partnerships with companies that complement our offerings with more and better functionality and value. We intend to continue doing so.

In addition, we’ll be recruiting new employees—people who want to help build the new company alongside a group of friendly heroes from northern Sweden.
