Ragn-Sells Selects Icebound as Supplier of New GIS Platform

Lycksele, August 19, 2026 – Ragn-Sells, one of Sweden’s leading and most experienced companies specializing in recycling and the environment, has selected Icebound as the provider of a new geographic IT platform for its Swedish operations. The solution is based on Icebound’s AddSpatial GIS platform.

This investment will provide Ragn-Sells with a modern GIS platform designed to streamline business processes and strengthen geographic decision support across large parts of the organization. AddSpatial GIS offers a comprehensive platform for managing, analyzing, and visualizing geographic information, creating new opportunities for both operational and strategic decision-making.

As one of the leading players in recycling and environmental protection, Ragn-Sells handles extensive amounts of geographic information, both related to its own facilities and to operations outside of them. The company is actively driving the transition to a circular economy to reduce its climate and environmental impact, which places high demands on efficient and modern geographic IT support.
