We’re strengthening our Umeå office with Mårten Nyrén—Welcome!

Icebound is strengthening its Umeå office with Mårten Nyrén as the new Tech Lead. A warm welcome!

“Hi, everyone!

My name is Mårten. I’m from Övik, and like many others, I moved to Umeå to study and ended up staying. These days, you’ll find me working alongside my colleagues at Icebound, right here in Umeå, where I started on February 16 of this year.

Since graduating in 2008, I have worked in a variety of roles in the IT industry and in hardware and software development. Most recently, I served as a Scrum Master and senior developer in a DevOps environment. What I find most interesting and exciting right now is developing the AddSpatial product and solution platform, which incorporates GIT/GIS—a new area for me. In addition, I’ll also be working on a few other products, primarily ProLocate.

In my free time, I enjoy sailing in the summer and downhill skiing in the winter—preferably with my wife and our three daughters.

Hope to see and hear from you!

“/Mårten Nyrén”

Icebound is currently experiencing strong growth, with its Umeå office, among others, expanding at full speed.
