Here’s how the tool is used in practice

The digital map can be used to plan the design and placement of equipment, signs, and devices. This information is then transmitted as a work order to the contractor, who quality-assures the work using photos and information gathered in the field. At any given time, the parking lot’s layout is accessible, complete with version control and history, which makes it possible to provide evidence in the event of any legal disputes.

It is also possible to optimize routes for parking attendants and work crews based on the most efficient travel routes. This simplifies resource planning. In the long run, this leads to cost savings as employees’ time is used more efficiently.

A fully web-based, award-winning solution

Users can access the web-based system via a computer, cell phone, or tablet. The system connects to other business systems and data sources and integrates information for various functions and geographic analyses in real time.

The system has evolved into a central part of the business. At the same time, Apcoa’s subsidiaries and operations in several of the other 14 European countries have recognized its benefits and are interested in implementing the solution in their own markets.
