Icebound helps Missing
People find more

Missing People helps police and relatives with searches when people disappear without trace. As an active main sponsor, we at Icebound deliver the ProLocate system, which allows them to plan and follow up their search efforts in an efficient way. We are proud to be an active main sponsor of Missing People Sweden (MPS), an organization that brings people together with the common goal of helping others.

An intelligent solution

ProLocate allows all search efforts and their locations to be stored continuously, enabling Missing People to coordinate their searches in an efficient and quality-assured way. They can quickly and easily ascertain where and when they have searched. This also makes cooperation, reporting and collaboration with the police and other stakeholders easier.

“With Icebound, we have found a partner that wants to improve our society while offering leading technology. It makes us so much stronger. Icebound helps us become even better and continue to attract volunteers to join us and make a difference”, says Tony, GIS Manager, Missing People Sweden

""

Data collection for quality assurance

The core of ProLocate is a cloud-based hub. The system can serve both as a guide for fieldworkers while they are on assignment and as a planning and analysis tool once the assignment is completed. The system includes a web client and a mobile application that fieldworkers use for GPS positioning, guidance, reporting and communication. It allows thousands of searchers to be easily equipped with mapping and positioning systems on their mobile phones.

“We are both proud and happy to work with Missing People Sweden. To be able to support and develop such a significant social cause is completely in line with our mission.” says Anders Haraldsson, Marketing Manager at Icebound AB.

ProLocate is a product and service that is fundamentally aimed at mobile workforces in the construction industry. Most customers using ProLocate can be found in road maintenance, park and green space maintenance and graffiti removal.
